“Persma Populis Cetus Nalar Kritis” is the theme raised by LPM Pabelan UMS (Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta) when they again held 45th anniversary celebration and Press Carnival (19/03/22). This activity was carried out in the Seminar Room of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UMS. Unlike the previous year, where Milad only invited all UKM (Student Activity Unit) and LPM (Student Press Institute) at UMS and it could not be held on the anniversary date due to circumstances and conditions, this year's anniversary celebration invited 19 LPM throughout Solo Raya and was held right on the birthday of LPM Pabelan.
Mukhlis Sirotul Munir as Chairman of LPM Pabelan explained that, the meaning of the theme “Persma Populis Cetus Nalar Kritis” was for all LPM in Solo Raya, especially LPM Pabelan to become a populist Persma – evenly distributed throughout the campus community and sparked critical reasoning. So the hope was that populist news above in the campus community, especially students, could increase their critical thinking. As a result, the news conveyed, it could be clear and also triggered critical thinking from the campus community itself.
In addition, for this year's anniversary celebration, there were also several series of events, including uploading twibbon on social media on March 18, 2022, the peak event which was the celebration of anniversary and Press Carnival on March 19, 2022, and alumni gathering on March 20, 2022.

The activity of uploading twibbon on social media was aimed to all members of LPM Pabelan to enliven the event. The second is the peak event, namely the celebration of anniversary and Press Carnival. Press Carnival is also an annual activity of LPM Pabelan which aims to brand products and institutions and expand the existence of products produced by LPM throughout Solo Raya. The concept of the event during the Press Carnival is to present the products produced by each LPM.
"There is also LPM Arjuna that has just been established at this event so that, it is hoped this event can trigger enthusiasm to produce their own products, said Mukhlis."
And the last one event is alumni gathering which was held in a hybrid way. In this activity there was also the establishment of an alumni forum which was expected to strengthen alumni relations themselves.
Mukhlis hoped that after reaching the age of 45, Pabelan LPM can become a populist LPM in accordance with the theme of this year's anniversary, so that the news produced by Pabelan LPM can spread throughout Indonesia and be more advanced.
