Surakarta (31/03), Soelastri Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM) in collaboration with the Surakarta Health Office held vaccination doses 1, 2 and a Covid-19 booster with the AstraZeneca vaccine. This vaccination was carried out at RSGM Soelastri on March 28 to April 1 2022 starting at 08.00-11.00 WIB.

This activity was attended by students to the general public of Surakarta city of various ages. The registration itself did not need to go through the web or need to online register. It was enough to come and register on the spot and participants could immediately get a vaccine injection as long as the quota was still available and met the requirements. For the conditions themselves, those were at least 18 years old, carried an ID card, in good condition, and specifically for booster vaccines, the vaccines used in doses I and II were Sinovac/AstraZeneca/Pfizer and brought proof of vaccine II that was more than three months. And the available quota was 100 doses per day.

For health protocols, of course, it is also implemented by scanning the Peduli Lindungi barcode, keeping the distance between participants and not forgetting to wear masks.

About pre-vaccination procedure, it’s quite simple. By our reporter own experience, participants entering the building straight to the vaccination area that placed in parking lot, then taking queue number with screening form and fill it with their National Identity data. After that, participants need to wait in the waiting area until their queue called with first screening officer. After screening, participant wait until their name are called by Identity data officer to re-check their data before their vaccine certificate is printed and then they need to wait in the another waiting room until the participant before them is finished their vaccine injection. Last, after injected with vaccine they have to back to the waiting room and wait to be called for last screening and pick up their vaccine certificate. The officer also giving information about the Contact Person who in charge if their any Post-vaccination symptoms. The officer and staffs are professional and friendly.

drg. Ananda as the doctor in charge of the RSGM Covid-19 vaccination "I think there are still quite a lot of people in Solo Raya who have not taken the vaccine based on the data I read from the Health Service. However, it is natural for this to happen because the interest of the community is different. But after the government set a new regulation regarding the requirements for going home and we also started to open vaccinations to the public, finally it became crowded because surely in Solo it is not only those with Solo ID cards who live” (31/03/2022).

He also hoped with this vaccination it could form herd immunity, especially in the city of Solo and its surroundings. “From the Health Service, it was ordered to accelerate. So all the hospitals immediately held many vaccination activities so that the people of Solo and its surroundings now had many vaccines. Alhamdulillah, the Solo City also received an award for the fastest vaccination," he added.

One of the participants in this activity named Maratus, a student from Ngawi said that the vaccination services were very friendly and made vaccine participants feel comfortable.

"I only feel aches and pains in the rest of the arm, there are no other effects, or maybe not yet" she added (31/03/2022).
